WORK with us! That's the clarion call issued to captains of industry in Bury.
The invitation comes courtesy of the new Business Link Network for the Greater Manchester North area of Bolton and Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Wigan.
They want the area's professional services community to find out more about how they can work with the new agency to help local companies grow.
Two free seminars will be staged next Wednesday (March 14). The first is a breakfast event at The Avant Hotel, Oldham, followed by a lunch presentation at The Jarvis International Hotel, Blackrod, Bolton. "Business Link The Way Forward" is the title of the first presentation by Peter Morton, chief executive of the new business support agency, which will be launched on April 1. He said: "Small businesses are the future of our economy and deserve the highest quality business support."
"To this end, we will be updating delegates on the changes taking place and discussing ways in which we might benefit members of the professional services community and their clients, and work together to deliver effective business support."
He added: "In particular, we will address how we can assist those businesses that show growth potential."
Sharing the platform with Mr Morton will be business champion and author Robert Craven, a mentor and consultant who has helped more than 1,000 companies.
Described as 'Mr Entrepreneur', his work on marketing and strategy has been widely published and put into good use by thousands of growing businesses.
For further details about the free events, contact Chantelle Brogden at Bolton and Bury Chamber's Business Link on 0161 763 3312.
