MADCAP Heather Tither will take the plunge for Red Nose Day -- into a bath of green 'sludge'.
Golborne Asda's events co-ordinator, 29-year-old Heather will spend six hours luxuriating in the contents of 10 cases of mushy peas.
The mother-of-three is being sponsored to sit at the back of the checkouts in a tin bath between noon and 6pm on the 16th for Comic Relief.
She said: "I've not done anything this mad before, but I'm looking forward to it.
"We've been out trying to buy some big red knickers to help say pants to poverty but we've only been able to get red Y-fronts and boxer shorts."
Store staff will be fund raising with a variety of events, and colleagues have promised to wear something red or fancy dress. There will also be a tombola stall and raffles.
The store's Big Eat has been a great success with seven and eight-year-old pupils following a fun-packed trail to educate them into healthy eating and nutrition.
Store staff have the use of a free minibus as part of the Stand Up For Kids campaign.
It is available for schools and community groups visiting the site for events. Anyone interested can contact Lesley or Heather on 01942 723231.
