ANDREW McCarron, 32, of London Road, Blackburn, and Scott Adrian Dagg, 18, of Pritchard Street, Blackburn, were each given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £55 costs by Blackburn magistrates after pleading guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
The court heard that the two men had approached the Millennium Taxi office in King Street and banged on a perspex panel until it fell out of the window.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said the two men had been out celebrating and had phoned before going to the office to get a taxi home. They were then told there were none available and had vented their frustration on the perspex panel.
"They both intend to write to Millennium Taxis and apologise for their behaviour," said Mr Ditta.
