Shakers

fortunes BURY visit Bristol Rovers on the back of an unbeaten run which as seen them notch up five wins from their last seven games.

And Rovers, challenging for promotion last season, have incredibly won only one game at home all season.

However, despite that depressing statistic, their defensive record is such as to suggest that new Bury heroes Colin Cramb and Jon Newby -- both on loan from Crewe and Liverpool respectively -- will do well to add to their respective goal tallies.

The two strikers have added much to Bury's play since their arrival, and though financially speaking, any permanent deals for the two seem at present unlikely, these plus the quality of the emerging young players from the youth team provide much optimism for next season.

Shakers fans therefore continue to hope for a fairy godfather to fund such a prospect.

Manager Andy Preece has no new injury worries, but still has Matt Barrass, Danny Swailes and Lee Unsworth on the sidelines.

Squad: Kenny, Billy, Collins, Redmond, C Swailes, Armstrong, Daws, Forrest, Reid, Cramb, Newby. Subs from: Preece, Barnes, Hill, Connell, James, Littlejohn
