OUR charity champ Michelle Lewis is on top of the world after receiving the Paul Harris Fellow award for outstanding work in the community.
Michelle has raised an incredible £1.2 million by taking part in sponsored wheelchair events, car boots, abseiling, sponsored swims and arranging star-studded variety shows, supported by hundreds of celebrities.
The latest in a long-line of honours for Michelle comes from the Rotary Club of St Helens, who made the presentation at their Charter Evening.
Born with a rare condition called Agrogrythopis, the expectations of Michelle - who comes from Rainhill - leading a normal life appeared remote, and doctors believed the 18 year-old might never walk, talk or even sit up again.
However, 10 years later, after 15 operations, Michelle took her first steps on the road to recovery as a mascot for Liverpool Football Club. Michelle received an award last year for being the charity fundraiser of the year, and she also met the Queen and Prime Minister Tony Blair.
