LEIGH Centurions' reserve stand-off Radney Bowker has joined his old boss Ian Millward at St Helens.
Bowker, 21, has only made one substitute appearance for Leigh's senior side this season after being a regular for the previous two years.
Now he has again teamed up with Millward at Knowsley Road on a month's loan.
Explained Leigh team boss Paul Terzis: "The change of environment will do Radney the world of good. He's not been able to find his form of last season and his confidence is a bit down. A new challenge might just do the trick for him."
Also joining Bowker with the Super League and World Club champions is ex-Leigh second rower Heath Cruckshank.
Aussie Cruckshank was Millward's first overseas recruit when he took over at Leigh and he joins the Saints from Sheffield Eagles until the end of the current Super League season. Cruckshank was squeezed out at Hilton Park when the NFP overseas quota was reduced from two to one at the start of the season.
Neither is eligible for today's Challenge Cup quarter-final against Huddersfield.
Skipper Adam Bristow, Alan Hadcroft, Dave Ingram, Phil Kendrick and John Hamilton should all be back for the Centurions when they meet Batley Bulldogs at Hilton Park on Sunday.
"After a month without a home game, it will be good to get back to Hilton Park," says Terzis. "This is our fortress and we aim to keep it that way."
