NAME:
Paul
Fleming
AGE: 32 Home town: Blackburn
How long have you supported Rovers?: 26 years
Where do you sit?: Walkersteel Stand (or as far away from the drummer as I can!)
What was your first game?: Rovers v Sunderland (1-1) early Seventies.
Most memorable match?: Probably the 5-4 victory against Crystal Palace. What a mixture of emotions on that afternoon -- but if you were to ask the most memorable occasion I would have to say the celebratory scenes at Anfield after we had clinched the Premier League title.
Most memorable player?: Has to be Alan Shearer.
Most forgettable player?: Who was the guy Roy Hodgson signed who looked a bit like Rudd Gullitt?? Oumar Konde I think his name was.
Favourite current player?: Henning Berg. A class apart from all the other defenders in the First Division. Who needs pace when you can read the game like "ice".
Most feared opponent?: Having to face Shearer in the FA Cup last season was a nightmare.
Your player of the season so far?: Henning Berg. It's no coincidence that since his return to the club our defence and results have improved.
Who's been Souness's best signing: Sorry to be boring but after what I've said about him already it has to be Henning again. Worst buy?: Not many of Souness's signings have failed but Diawara didn't have the effect we desired when he joined.
England star of the future?: It has to be David Dunn.
One to watch from the academy?: Neil Danns -- good engine, gets up and down the field, and scores goals from midfield.
Best ground visited?: Elland Road -- for its atmosphere.
Worst ground visited?: Meadow Lane. Not the most hygenic of grounds.
Furthest place to watch Rovers?: Brighton. But the trip to Ipswich certainly feels like the longest.
Greatest manager of all time?: King Kenny
Second team?: Rovers reserves or any team on a Saturday at 4.50pm that has just beaten Burnley!!!
