BURY'S unbeaten run came to an end in the wind and rain of Bristol Rovers, and following their magnificent midweek performance to topple league leaders Millwall, it was almost an inevitable anti-climax.
The Shakers simply never got going and performed poorly.
A goal in each half, from Steve Foster and Dwane Plummer put paid to the Shakers hopes and their loyal fans endured a drenching in the open section of the Memorial Stadium for their trouble to round off an unhappy day.
