A RECENT report envisages that council tax increases will amount to more than three times the rate of inflation. For those in Band D this would mean £60 extra.
In the four years since Labour took office, the average council tax bill has increased by £220.
In the budget, the Chancellor may give us back a certain amount of money that he has filched from us, but a careful watch will have to be maintained on our wallets!
