BRITAIN'S newest pop sensation Hear'Say look set to soar to the top of the charts this Sunday.
The band's new single, Pure and Simple, is outselling nearest rivals Westlife by nearly four to one.
Hear'Say -- including Suzanne Shaw, from Brandlesholme, Bury -- have chalked-up 160,000 sales to date -- making it the fastest-selling single for more than three years.
The band sold more singles in one day than most number one songs sell in an entire week and the news comes just days after a staggering 3,500 fans mobbed the band at HMV in London during the group's first public signing session.
Westlife's Comic Relief single, Uptown Girl has only managed 43,000 sales.
The record for fastest-selling single of all time is held by Elton John's Princess Diana tribute, Candle in the Wind, which sold 655,000 copies in its first few days of release in 1997.
