GARY Hamilton put himself in the shop window with two goals last night to shoot down a young Middlesbrough side.
The Northern Ireland Under 21 international has been told he can leave Ewood on a free at the end of the season.
But goals after 42 and 73 minutes fired Terry Darracott's men to an impressive win.
Hamilton put Rovers ahead with a neat finish just before the break but Carlos Marinelli then equalised for Boro within the space of a minute.
The young Rovers striker then restored the visitor's advantage midway through the second half before Damien Johnson wrapped things up with a neat finish six minutes from time.
Rovers: Miller, Kenna, McNamee, Dunning, Douglas, Broomes, Keller, Johnson, Richards, Hamilton (Danns), O'Brien.
