A CHANGE of midfield personnel at half time rescued a point for Bacup against Squires Gate in NWCL Divison Two.
Manager Brent Peters took off Paul Wane and Jimmy Gemmill and brought on Wayne Mackenzie and Dave Thomas to shore up the middle of the park, where Borough had been overrun in the first half.
Squires Gate had gone ahead in the 20th minute through Scott Sugden after a disputed corner.
Just two minutes into the second half, after the double midfield switch, Borough equalised through Carl Stanley, who unleashed an unstoppable shot past Gareth Gray.
