BURY FC have revealed they are offering bargain season tickets to juniors in a bid to woo the supporters of tomorrow.

To try and stop the usual trend of youngsters in the town following Manchester City or United, the Shakers have issued a junior season ticket for next season at just £50. Student prices have been set at just £100. Both those prices apply if the ticket is bought in the next month.

And for any fan who buys their ticket before April 16, all prices have been frozen at this season's level.

Bury chairman Terry Robinson is urging supporters to buy early so the club can get much needed cash in the bank and help the Shakers survive through the summer months when there are no gate receipts coming in but still players wages to pay.

"To help in our quest to keep the club going we want fans to buy as early as possible," said Mr Robinson.

"We believe these prices are a real bargain and we are trying to offer our fans the best deal possible.

"The offer for juniors and students offers fantastic value for people who might not otherwise be in a position to afford to come to games.

Noise

"Hopefully this offer will encourage more support and continue to increase the noise levels, especially in the Cemetery End."

If purchased before 16 April, it will cost just £50 for a junior Family Stand ticket - £100 for students - and that price also includes free admission all all cup matches as well as Swinton Rugby League games.

For adults, before 16 April, it will cost £240 in the Main Stand, £215 in the South Stand with Family Stand tickets priced at £200.

After that date all the prices rise by as much as £40.

All season tickets can be purchased direct from Gigg Lane and those who want more information can give the club a ring on 0161 764 4881.
