ROSSENDALE manager Jim McCluskie hasn't seen his side lose at home in the NWCL Division One since he took charge in September.
And he's determined it won't happen tonight as his side prepare to play their third game in six days against Flixton -- and boost their bid for the league title.
Rossendale are on a roll, 10 games unbeaten and with nine wins in that time. And they can't seem to stop scoring; they got nine in their match last Saturday against Cheadle. "It has been going okay recently," laughed the boss.
The games are coming thick and fast for Dale after postponements for the fuel crisis, the weather and then foot and mouth.
Following Saturday's rout, they enjoyed a 2-1 win over Abbey Hey on Tuesday.
"We managed to grind a result out at Abbey Hey on a tricky surface.
"I think the spirit is carrying the lads through at the moment. And the good thing is that we are getting goals from all over the pitch, which is taking a bit of pressure off Craig Sargeson."
Saying that, top striker Sargeson has chipped in with 25 goals so far this season.
"And he scored a spectacular one against Abbey Hey," continued McCluskie. "He enjoyed that one."
Dale are up there with the other local sides Ramsbottom and Clitheroe challenging for the top spot.
"We've 16 games left and we've just got to win as many as possible. We're not worried about other sides. We'll just see what happens."
Gary Rishton (knee), John Borland (hamstring) and Paul Heavey (knock)-- scorer of four last Saturday -- are all doubts.
