PUPILS from Coney Green High School took a bite out of the Big Apple on a school trip with a difference.
A total of 23 youngsters from Years 9 to 11 spent five days in New York.
They played baseball and went ice skating in Central Park, took in a Broadway show, visited the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty and enjoyed a walking tour of Manhattan.
At the United Nations they grilled their guide with some difficult questions about land mines and they were themselves grilled by some New York students about their views on the city.
