SHAKERS chairman Terry Robinson has appealed for a big increase in the club's attendances as the campaign reaches it's climax.
After the visit of Notts County tomorrow there will be only four more home fixtures and the Bury supremo is hoping that, given the parlous financial state of the club, people rally to the cause for the final few games.
And there is plenty of incentive for anyone wishing to get behind the Gigg Lane men with tomorrow's match another 'Quid A Kid' game for all sections of the ground while adults will be admitted to the Cemetery End for only £10.
"We really need people to show they care about the club and make an effort to get down for the final few home matches," said Mr Robinson.
"Once again we have the cut price incentives which have been successful in recent weeks and hopefully more people will take advantage of them."
The cut price admission for under 16s have been particularly successful with young fans in the Cemetery End generating much needed atmosphere in the last few home games.
Admittedly there has been plenty to cheer about in recent weeks but manager Andy Preece has always said he believes the fans can play a big part in the club's success.
Tomorrow's visitors Notts County will be no pushovers having lost only two games out of their last sixteen.
This week they added Nottingham Forest defender Colin Calderwood to their squad and picked up left-sided utility man Kevin Nicholson from Northampton Town. Both are expected to make their debuts tomorrow. Giant centre-half Anders Jacobsen will be missing after undergoing a knee operation and the Bury defence will have to keep their eye on 19-goal striker Mark Stallard who takes a delight in scoring against the Shakers.
Preece's big doubt is on-loan star striker Jon Newby who hasn't trained all week after damaging his ankle in training on Monday.
He will be given every chance to prove his fitness but it's thought tomorrow's game may come just too quickly for him and looks a better bet to recover in time for Tuesday's trip to Wrexham.
One man definitely keyed up for the game is Bury's other loan striker Colin Cramb.
The talented Scot spent a couple of weeks at Meadow Lane earlier in the season before returning to Crewe.
Tuesday's game at Wrexham is Cramb's last before heading back to Gresty Road and Preece is due to have talks with Alex boss Dario Gradi on extending his stay.
However, the fast approaching transfer deadline could take matters out of his hands should Cramb be the target of another club.
