LEIGH East Tigers Under 11s needed some strong tackling to lay the platform for a 28-12 win over Wigan St Cuthbert's.
After falling behind to an early try, the Tigers hit back through Ben Taylor. A flowing move from the backs ended with Iain Jolley going over to put East in front at 8-6.
Several changes at half time swung the game East's way. Tries came from Lyndon Robertson, Taylor, Ryan Wiganll and Adam Maguire with Daniel Hunter and Chris Penn adding goals.
