VILLAGERS will be aiming for blooming marvellous comments from judges in Lancashire's Best Kept Village competition.
Clitheroe Town Council has written to community organisations and parish councils inviting them to enter .
Village halls, institutes or youth buildings, sheltered accommodation, nursing homes, public playing fields or sports grounds, school grounds, industrial and commercial buildings and grounds, shops, filling stations, farms, pubs, hotels, public conveniences, caravan sites, bowling greens, cricket fields can all enter and be in with a chance of winning.
There is also a schools competition for infants to produce a poster and caption on the feature they are most proud of in the town.
