THE decision on who will be Leigh's Labour candidate at the next general election will be decided on Tuesday at Hindley Green Labour Club.
The final half dozen nominations were selected from 13 hopefuls this week by the Labour's National Executive Committee.
Labour chiefs met on Tuesday at the party's Millbank headquarters in London to quiz the baker's dozen put up by local Labour members, trade unions and affiliated bodies. The NEC chose Keith Cunliffe, Andy Burnham, Ian Wingfield, Julie Hilling, Barbara Keeley-Huggett and Jenny Smith.
