A PENSIONER was terrorised by two burglars who broke into his home.
The 75-year-old man was threatened with a knife and assaulted when he confronted the men who had forced their way into his home in Diamond Street, Leigh.
They fled with cash, leaving their elderly victim needing treatment at the Royal Bolton Hospital's casualty department. He was not seriously injured and was later released.
The attackers are described as white, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall, of a muscular build and spoke with local accents. They were in their teens to early 20s.
