I SEE from your columns that Hilton Dawson is prepared to answer some questions but not the smoking gun, when did he find out that the Blobbygate side-letter hadn't been signed.
Well, the longer he sits mute, the more likely he is to find the electorate drawing their own conclusions.
A general election approaches. Logic suggests that Dawson's most sensible course is to tell all without further delay. Unless, of course, the truth is so damning that to spill the beans would destroy his chances of returning to a cushy number in Westminster.
Actually, I doubt that the truth can be quite that bad, which makes his reluctance to come clean all the more baffling.
If he continues to stonewall, I shall, with your permission, remind him again in two weeks time.
