WHO said Blackpool pub managers have no heart? Dave Robertson of Yates's North Shore was delighted to model one of the automatic defibrillators bought with the £1000 donated from the Yates's Foundation to the Heart of The Fylde Appeal recently.
Chris Veevers of Lancashire Ambulance Trust -- who set up the Appeal to have life-saving machines placed at key sites around Blackpool -- said: "Up to 50 people a week suffer a heart attack in Lancashire. A shock from a defibrillator close at hand can make all the difference."
Dave, ppictured with Chris Veevers, added: "It is fantastic that we are able to help such a great cause and help make Blackpool a safer place."
