AN Oscar Wilde classic is to be staged at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre next week.
Oswaldtwistle Players are rehearsing the play about that elusive creature "The Ideal Husband".
And the company has already received a good luck note from one of the Hollywood stars credited with its revival.
Club secretary Gayle Knight wrote to the stars of the recent film version of the play and received a letter back from Minnie Driver wishing them luck.
The play has been directed by Wayne Avanson, who also directed the Players' hit "Lucky Sods" two years ago.
One of Wilde's most celebrated and witty plays, it revolves around the lives of London society members.24march, and they are also appearing on Radio Lancashire's Jim Bowen Show on Thursday22march at 10.15am.cut the radio lancs bit if you want
