THE bedroom of a house in Radcliffe was badly damaged in a weekend blaze.
Fire officers said a short circuit in a convector heater was the cause of the outbreak at the property in Princess Street on Saturday (March 17).
The flames penetrated the floorboards of the bedroom and the remainder of the upstairs section was smoke logged.
Crews from Bury and Whitefield spent around an hour at the scene. No-one was injured.
