AN ear discovered in the garden of a house in Radcliffe is unlikely to have belonged to a human, say police.
And forensic tests are set to confirm the find is a pig's ear.
Youngsters digging in the garden of the property in Hoyle Street discovered the "mystery" ear before calling police.
A police spokesman said: "We believe it was a pig's ear and not a human one. It has been sent away to our forensic science laboratory for tests."
