POLICE are hunting four men who staged a smash and grab at the Co-op supermarket in Ramsbottom.
They fled with £2,000 worth of cigarettes after forcing their way into the King Street store on Friday night (March 16) at 8.30pm.
Police say the raiders drew up outside the premises in a stolen silver BMW car at 8.30pm.
They smashed the front window and then forced a shutter before gaining entry and stealing the tobacco.
The raiders escaped in a silver BMW, later found abandoned in Hollins Lane, Bury. The car was stolen earlier from Prestwich.
Anyone with information should contact Bury police on 856 8157.
