Atherton Colls look to extend the margin over the relegation places with an away game at bottom club Leek CSOB who showed signs of a possible imminent revival on Saturday in a 1-1 eyebrow-raising draw at title chasers Rossendale United.
New management team Dennis Haslam and Tommy Foster have brought some much needed cheer to Colls with two wins on the bounce and the side is beginning to take shape. "Saturday's 2-0 win over Great Harwood was very pleasing," says Foster. "We have character in the side now, lads who don't know when they're beat, and that gives us an edge we didn't have.
" Full back Keith Best took a knock in the Saturday win and faces a fitness test before tonight's game.
