A TERRIFIED robbery victim was held in a headlock with a knife pointed at his throat as he was attacked in the Gannow Lane subway in Burnley.
The 22-victim was making his way from Cog Lane to Gannow Lane when he was attacked by three men.
One held him in a headlock while another held a long bladed kitchen knife at his throat and demanded money. The man threw his wallet to the ground. It was picked up by a third attacker. The victim was thrown to the ground as the three made off.
Stolen was a blue adidas wallet containing £50 cash, a TSB bank card and personal photos.
One of the crooks is described as white, thin, early 20s with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark top. The knifeman is white, early 20s, 6ft 1ins tall, thin with a clear complexion. He has a cut under his right eye and was wearing a black Nike baseball cap, black jeans and a cream adidas tracksuit top.
The third man is white, early 20s, 6ft tall and thin. he was wearing a blue baseball cap, cream top, training jacket and blue tracksuit bottoms. Det Sgt Steve Mounsey appeal for help from the public in tracing the offenders.
He said: "The aggrieved was not hurt but it was a serious incident involving a weapon."
