LANDLORD Mick Heys is planning to open his car park to raise money for a national charity.
Mick, who runs the Woodlands Hotel, in Preston New Road, Blackburn, has decided to hold monthly car boot sales in aid of Mencap but is still waiting to get the go-ahead from council bosses.
The charity sales are due to take place on the first Sunday of every month and are expected to start on Sunday April 1.
The pub has also set up a 60s and 70s disco night running every Saturday starting on March 24, with the addition of a possible charity casino night next month.
