FANS of Blackburn Rovers have been urged to support their team by opening a special account with the Skipton Building Society.
More than £7,000 has already been raised by supporters to help fund youth development at the club.
Now the society has recruited a squad of first team players to promote the Blackburn Rovers account and increase the number of savers from its current total of just over 200.
The players will be turning up at the Blackburn branch on March 30 at 2pm to meet customers and supporters and there will be a free prize draw for four Rovers home shirts.
The Skipton Building Society donates 0.75 per cent of the amount invested by supporters of the special account to Rovers' youth scheme.
