WENDY Parsons fled when challenged as she left the Aldi supermarket without paying for eight chicken fillets and three pieces of cheese.
Blackburn magistrates heard she was chased by two members of staff, discarding her haul as she went.
The deputy manager of this store fell during the pursuit but Parsons was eventually detained and the police called.
Parsons, 33, of Woodvale, Darwen, pleaded guilty to shoplifting.
The case was adjourned for the preparation of pre-sentence reports and parsons was remanded on bail.
