OLDHAM TOWN 0 PADIHAM 6 PADIHAM included a number of fringe and reserve team players in their team that played at Oldham Town last night, but they still proved too strong for the North West Counties Football League Division Two Oldham as the Storks ran out convincing 6-0 winners.
First team debutant Wayne Ebbs headed Padiham in front after six minutes and then increased the Storks lead scoring with a second header 10 minutes before half time to give the visitors a 2-0 interval lead.
Ian Pilkington gave Padiham a great start to the second half, scoring within a minute of the kick off and the Storks centre forward scored again in the 65th minute to make it 4-0.
Shaun Kendall increased the Storks lead eight minutes later when he hammered home a direct free kick and nine minutes from full time, Mark Derbyshire ran on to a Martyn Thompson through ball to score Padiham's sixth and final goal.
