A COUPLE from Fleetwood were injured when their car went out of control and overturned on the Grane Road between Haslingden and Blackburn.
The accident happened in treacherous weather conditions with windswept snow on the road near to the Grey Mare pub at about 9.30pm last night.
Paramedics attended to the couple at the scene before taking them to Blackburn Royal Infirmary for further treatment.
Fire crews from Rawtenstall were called to the accident and made the Ford saloon safe by removing the battery.
