A GANG of thieves broke into the home of an elderly Blackpool man, threatening him until he told them where he kept his cash.

The terrifying raid took place at the man's home on Preston Old Road, Blackpool, at 6.45pm on March 11.

The three men, all described as in their late 30s, of average height and build and wearing dark clothes, stole the man's wallet and contents, including his house keys.

A MAN in his early 20s tried to pay with a stolen Switch card at Windsor Shoes, Dock Street, Fleetwood, on March 14.

When challenged about his signature the man made off without the goods. He is described as between 5ft 4ins and 5ft 6ins and slightly built, with a large nose and short mousey brown hair. He was wearing a purple shirt with black checks, blue jeans and white trainers.

A WOMAN was indecently assaulted by a man as she walked along Ansdell Road in South Shore at 9.10pm on March 10. The man approached her from behind and ran away after the assault. He is described as white, in his 40s, of a slim build and between 5ft 10ins and 5ft 11ins. He was wearing black glasses with thick lenses, a grey jumper and dark jeans.

A THIEF approached a 95-year-old lady on March 10 at 2pm on Talbot Road, distracted her then reached into her bag and stole her purse.

The thief was a white woman aged between 20 and 30, who was small, of medium build with medium length straight auburn hair and wearing glasses.

A WOMAN walking along Highbury Avenue, Blackpool, at 4pm on March 10 had her shopping bag stolen by a thief who cycled up behind her and snatched the bag, injuring her in the process.

The thief was a white male, about 18, 6ft tall, of a medium build with mousey hair. He was wearing a light grey quilted anorak with a red and black chequered or tartan scarf, dark tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap or woolly hat.
