PENDLE MP Gordon Prentice was preparing for his toughest interview yet today when he was due to visit Trawden Primary School, in Colne.
The school has been holding a number of art events this week which will continue into next week and one of them will see the MP put under the spotlight by pupils.
The MP said: "This is a marvellous opportunity for the children to experience a mind-boggling array of art subjects. As well as being great entertainment, the youngsters will undoubtedly learn a lot during this fortnight."
Pupils were given the opportunity to walk the tight rope and have a go on the unicycle on Monday during the circus day and Christopher Awdry, the author of the Thomas the Tank Engine books, talked to pupils on Tuesday.
Activities next week include a look at Ghanian culture, people and food on Monday, a talk by poet, writer and performer Terry Caffrey and coaching sessions by Burnley FC with year six on Tuesday, tile making, drama and a taste of African dancing on Wednesday, puppet making and workshops with the Manchester Camerata on Thursday.
The fortnight will conclude on Friday.
