A PIONEERING move to help the blind has been launched at Co-op pharmacies.
Braille has been introduced onto packaging to help sightless people differentiate between products.
The first product on the shelves at the Manchester Road, Astley, pharmacy is paracetamol.
A range of commonly used medicines and products such as vitamins, cough mixtures and plaster cartons with similar packaging, will be phased in over the next two months.
Some of the products will also be sold in Co-op food stoes.
