VOLUNTEERS are off to an Anglesey outdoor centre to help ensure Atherton lives up to residents' expectations. A group of 12 from Atherton Community Mapping team will be developing their skills on a community development course weekend on Holy Island. Elaine Wystawnoha, neighbourhood co-ordinator based at Atherton's Ena Mill, said: "The training weekend has been made possible by a successful bid for funding from Douglas Valley Communities." The mapping team was awarded a grant of £1,000.
