A SHOPPER who fell and banged her head in a supermarket is appealing for an elderly couple to come forward.
Doreen Ryder was in Kwik Save, on Bolton Road, Atherton, when she tripped on an empty bread basket and tumbled to the floor.
She hurt her ankle and bruised her head. But an elderly couple helped her and Mrs Ryder is urging them to come forward so she can thank them personally.
Mrs Ryder, aged 60, of Hulton Lane, Bolton, said: "They looked after me but I was in such a daze, I didn't have a chance to say thanks." To contact Mrs Ryder telephone 01204 652581.
