I HAVE no objection to residents of Whitebirk in Blackburn receiving free computes (LET, March 16). But is it fair?
What about the rest of the people in the borough?
I don't have a computer because I can't afford one.
Jack Straw praises the initiative. Well he would, wouldn't he?
I am in the unfortunate position that I live in a ward where there are three Tory councillors.
Therefore, from this Labour council we receive very little funding.
We need a change of government, both in Westminster and especially here in Blackburn with Darwen, so that hopefully all wards in the borough will receive equal funding.
J HOLMES (Mr), Lammack Road, Blackburn.
