ONE defeat in seven games has hoisted Radcliffe Boro to ninth place in the Unibond Division One listing.
This has been a rise of meteoric proportion considering that Boro were next to bottom in mid February.
The Stainton Park outfit's problem was always going to be one of playing catch up with the number of games in hand on some other clubs in the division stretching into double figures. The backlog has to be cleared and this week could hardly be tougher for manager Kevin Glendon and his squad starting tonight at home to Matlock Town then two of the longer trips in the playing schedule in quick succession with Guiseley away on Thursday night and Workington on Saturday afternoon. Top rated defender David Bean looks like missing all three games this week with injury.
