ITALIAN barber Sergio Solazzo will star in this year's spring production of 'Post Horn Gallop' by Derek Benfield.
Sergio, who has a barber shop in Bacup, is the newest member of the village's St Mary's Players, and has got the cast wondering how he is going lose his Italian accent to take part in an English play.
The theatre group have had a great deal of response from the Rossendale public in assisting with props but are still looking for someone to lend them three scout uniforms -- preferably one with a large hat that they used to wear in the 1960s.
Showings will take place in the Leisure Hall, Bacup, from Wednesday March 28 until Friday March 30 starting at 7.30pm.
Block bookings are being taken at a reduced price of £3.50 per person for a group of 10 and can be booked by telephoning the ticket secretary on 01706 873671.
If you could supply a scout uniform contact the producer Christine Durkin on 01706 874836.
