WOULD-BE Territorial Army soldiers are invited to an open day this weekend to get an insight into life with the force.
Members of the TA will be on hand to talk about their experiences, and offer advice on the commitments of being a new recruit.
The emphasis will be on the professional nature of the organisation and its capabilities in conjunction with regular regiments.
Doctors and nurses ready for a new challenge are particularly sought after, along with other dedicated applicants.
Visitors to the open day at Bury's Castle Armoury can take part in hands-on demonstrations and find out about both the Machine Gun Platoon and G squadron, which are based at the armoury.
Doors open to the public on Saturday (March 31) between 10am and 4pm.
