AS you may know, we at Parr High School have heard the sad news that our school might be closing down.
This school has been standing for just over 68 years. Many of you may have good memories of Parr High.
We have only been there for just over three years and it sickens us to know that we will have to go to a school out of our area, out of our usual travel plan and completely out of our district.
Do they not think of US? We matter and have feelings too.
We love our teachers and staff as a family. We all stick together.
Alas, no one seems to mention any good parts about Parr High such as our good GCSE grades last year, our improving truancy rate (down by nine per cent) and the pupils who are doing really well.
We are very disappointed to hear that the council are even thinknig about closing our school.
To some adults it doesn't seem important, it is to us. Please support us and our school!
Some of the teachers have been here for more than 25 years.
Think of our lives and our futures, please.
Joanne Llewellyn and Nicola Kinsey, Parr High School pupils.
