AN argument with bouncers over a spiked drink ended with Tim Parker being arrested outside Utopia nightclub, in Blackburn, after brandishing a broken bottle neck.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Parker had felt that no-one was taking him seriously and became frustrated and angry.
Parker, 24, of Wensley Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
He was fined £35 with £30 costs.
Philip Potter, prosecuting, said a police officer saw Parker arguing with door staff outside the club.
He was told to go away and started to leave but then picked up a bottle and smashed it against a wall.
"He began waving it in the direction of the door staff and the officer and then threw it over the wall into Lord Square," said Mr Potter.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said the behaviour was out of character for Parker.
He had had a drink in the club and 10 minutes later felt strange and disorientated.
