A STUDENT was robbed at knife-point by a crook on a mountain bike.
Stolen was a Packard Bell 1550 E1 lap-top computer valued at £999.
The 17-year-old victim was not hurt but was said by Det Sgt Steve Mounsey to have been extremely shocked and frightened.
The incident happened at the busy junction of Manchester Road and Piccadilly Road at 1.40pm yesterday. The victim was sat down at the junction when the offender cycled up to him and sat down next to him and started a conversation.
