A CHARITABLE duo who work at the Colne office of Southerns solicitors are offering to make wills throughout this week.
And the fixed fees of £40 per person or £50 per couple will be donated to Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle.
Kirsten Morgan and Steve Jackson, speaking from the recently-renovated Colne office -- formerly Whittle and Whittaker -- said there were many good reasons to make a will -- not least to give peace of mind that estates would be dealt with as wished and for tax planning reasons.
The firm has a long connection with the local hospice movement whose chairman, retired solicitor Miss Muriel Jobling who is a non-practising consultant with Southerns.
She is delighted with the Will Week promotion and continuation of the firm's tradition of support for the hospice movement.
The two solicitors will be available at the Colne office or will make home visits at no extra cost.
Unfortunately, VAT has to be added to the fees and this must go to the tax authorities.
