LEIGH East Under 14s progressed into the last four of the NW Counties Cup with a 22-16 win over Crosfields.
Steven Mullaney popped over a drop goal in the first minute before Adrian Dootson scored in the corner from a break by Darryl Kay. Mullaney converted for a 7-0 lead.
Crosfields pulled a try back before Mullaney restored East's advantage with a converted try to give his side a 13-6 half time lead.
A strong start to the second half from East led to a second Mullaney drop goal and tries for Thomas Brindle and Mark Hobson.
Crosfields scored two late tries to make the scoreline more respectable.
Centre Rory Littlewood was East's man of the match.
