LANCASHIRE county council's traffic supremo is retiring after more than 30 years working for local authorities in the North West.
Terry Dean who has most recently been responsible for transportation policy at Lancashire County Council, will leave at the end of the month.
He started his carer with work experience at Lancashire in 1965 and worked for Cheshire County Council before returning in 1985.
His boss, environment director Graham Harding, said: "Terry's experience and commitment has been invaluable."
