Player of the match Eden Clayton crossed the line twice, the best of which came from a slipped pass from his captain Grant Smillie.

The captain also scored a hat-trick and the best tackler was Ross Cowburn who never flinched from a challenge.

Leyland Warriors U10s 22 Royston Tigers 18: The Warriors bounced back from last week's disappointing performance to record a fine win.

A great team defensive display in the second half helped the Warriors to recover from being 12-6 down at half time to lead 18-12.

Royston equalised with two minutes to go. However, in the last minute a great length of the pitch run by Chris How after a Kieren Owens recovery secured the victory for the Warriors.

Man of the match was Chris How, best supporting player Stuart McLean, top tackler Darren Jones, most improved player Kieren Owens and most improved tackler was John Wright.

Pendle U15s 34 Leyland Warriors U15s 8: Although fielding an understrength team the Warriors put in a spirited effort against Pendle.

Warriors tries and a determined defence prevented the opponents from running away with the second half.

The tries came from Stuart Brown and James Franklin. Man of the match was Jamie Jackson and top tackler went to Hal Padlar.
