(A view from the fans from the Real Progress Group)
OUR wisdom of Real Progress' noble efforts to win back lapsed Pool fans to boost our attendances must be doubted as it seems whenever a decent crowd turns out our form takes a nosedive!
With three successive below par performances it is beginning to look like another turbulent and emotional roller-coaster ride as promotion jitters start to take over.
The likelihood of a top three finish is receding so let's hope that we can get back on track to secure a place in the play-offs.
We just pray everything is cut and dried well before the end of the season so we can relax before our final match at Darlington. Pool fans will not relish the prospect of another 'Walsall' or 'Lincoln' heartbreak.
On a separate issue Real Progress would like to draw to the attention of all members and other Pool fans, that despite our best endeavours we have still not received responses from the club to the questions raised at our public meeting some nine weeks ago.
Real Progress has no intention to be negative in all we say and do but we have received no co-operation from the club at all and we are beginning to wonder how we can move forward without becoming negative in our approach.
What we want is what our members want. We aim to be the voice of the fans and we wish to make it clear it is not necessarily the views and opinions of the Real Progress committee being put forward to the club but those of the supporters.
We would dearly love the club and/or BSA to give us answers to the questions we put forward on behalf of our members so we can pass these responses on and are still hopeful the club will be as positive as we are trying to be and to open communication channels between us.
On a lighter note, on behalf of Real Progress we extend a warm welcome to our new signings, Gary Parkinson and Jamie Milligan. We wish them the best of luck and hope they can help bring some long-awaited success to Blackpool FC.
Ruth Tuffnell and Rob Frowen, Real Progress.
